Mr. Sun Qiang has practiced in the intellectual property legal services sector for 23 years, specializing in patent and trademark matters within the electronics, computer, and mechanical engineering industries. His expertise encompasses patent and trademark infringement litigation, invalidation proceedings, and the development of corporate IP strategies.
Since commencing his IP agency practice in 2002, Mr. Sun has served as lead counsel in 57 IP litigation matters and 42 patent invalidation proceedings. As co-counsel, he has substantially contributed to 29 additional IP litigation cases and 21 patent invalidation matters, all of which have garnered consistent client acclaim.
Additionally, Mr. Sun has extensive experience in patent prosecution, having managed over 600 patent applications and responded to more than 300 office actions. He possesses substantial expertise in patent drafting and office action responses, and is proficient in conducting searches utilizing domestic and international IP databases. Mr. Sun serves as a long-term IP legal advisor to multiple enterprises and has been designated as an IP expert by the Shenzhen Intellectual Property Bureau.
